Ryan Sterkhjerte Pedersen was born and raised in the Western Suburbs of Chicago and spent most of his life in the Chicagoland area outside a 5.5 year stint in Charlottesville, VA.  He has spent the past 20+ years honing his craft in Client Services in the Digital Marketing field and now is seizing upon an opportunity to go full send nomad.

An extremely sensitive soul Ryan considers the depth of feeling that comes with managing Bipolar Disorder a gift. Learning to channel it responsibly is the duty that comes with it. Openly sharing about his journey managing that, and substance abuse disorder, is a privilege and a badge of honor he wears proudly.

He has been to 2 residentail rehabs, one non residentail rehab, 5 substance abuse detoxes and has fought back from everyone. Rock bottoms have always been a catapult to reach new heights in life.

He doesn’t do labels but you might say Ryan is an excitable, observational, and curious seeker, dreamer, jet setter, people person and connection seeker.

The goal of this nomad life is quite simple – to soak up all of the beauty, connection and experiences he can whilst leaving everyone he encounters feeling just a smidge brighter and more smiley.
